Growth Measurement Training Questionnaire
Child Growth Foundation (CGF) is a charity founded in 1977 by the families of six children with growth conditions in response to reductions in government funding for research into growth conditions. As well as funding research, the charity became a support group, with education and awareness being top priorities.
CGF has grown over the years, currently supporting eleven, often rare, overgrowth and undergrowth conditions. Our vision is “to make a difference wherever growth is a concern.” We work with various specialists, health care practitioners and families advocating for early detection, specialist management, treatment and support for all growth conditions.
Historically CGF delivered a growth measurement training programme to health care professionals across the country. Whilst this is a service we are not currently offering, we continue to work with Seca and Harlow Printing endorsing products we feel, when used properly, give precise measurements.
Please complete this short questionnaire on what growth measurement training is provided for staff within your setting. This will help us to understand what role CGF can have in promoting and supporting accurate and consistent growth measurements and whether once again, training for health care professionals would be of benefit.
